Bill White absolutely has an excellent chance. He is doing very well as far as fundraising goes and he is very appealing to the minority vote which is on the rise in Texas. He is a faith based man that does not exclude conservative value touters more commonly associated with the states politics.

I like Bill White in the race for senate to at least win the democratic primary. He is a democrat with many conservatives values and is a Regan type of moderate with his great focus on helping business. I think if anyone he has a chance at winning statewide since he isn't a far to the left candidate and is more of a moderate and thinks for himself on issues.

Texas DWI Attorney,

Hoekstra has yet to make an announcement. He is often mentioned as a potential candidate in stories about Michigan's 2010 election, some articles call him a "likely" candidate. A <a href="http://www.cqpolitics.com/wmspage.cfm?docID=news-000003077155" rel="nofollow">recent poll<?a> had him second in the GOP primary.

I think the Dems have a better chance of taking Michigan 11 instead of Michigan 2. Michigan 11 was closer than I imagined, with McCotter winning by less than 6%. Michigan 8 could also come into play.

I agree that redistricting would make MI-02 more competitive.
