What will we discuss later this week??? Assuming a lean, emphatic victory for one candidate tomorrow.

I agree. You’ve been on top of just about ever piece of information available, and you’ve put it up in one spot every day for a ridiculously long time. You’ve constantly put together a better and more informative read than the vast majority of other major news websites.

You’ve put together a very good site, and I’ll be checking back after this thing is done to see how you track the political environment going into the 2010 House and Senate elections.

Taniel - I just wanted to say how much I agree with Guy and other posters. This is the first site I visit every morning and I check it through the day. It’s by far my favorite. Your analysis is always insightful, informative and entertaining. Thank you for all the work on it. I’m looking forward to more election cycles on campaigndiaries.

Taniel - I wanted to thank you for all the work you have done on this blog. It is my first port of call each day and I look repeatedly each day since you post interesting information and analysis.

I would like to mention that there has been no October suprise and unless Bin Laden does something in the next 12 hours it will not effect people voting tomorrow on the way to work. Maybe the illegal aunt was meant as a surprise but that has fizzled out.

I really feel the election is all but over and that Obama is the victor. Not to preempt voters’ choice, but the NBC/WSJ poll released today shows Obama’s lead seven points more than Bush’s at this point in the election. Unless Obama stumbles hugely, it is extremely difficult for me to see McCain as a relevant candidate capable of coming from behind to snap the election. And unless racists change their mind — and so-called “cultually conservative Democrats” change their mind — it is hard to imagine even the technical possibility that McCain might somehow win. Well Tanile, I know you want to remain objective to the end and don’t want to be proven wrong, but lets be frank: the election is really favorable to Obama that it is not plausible that McCain would manage to come from behind and that it is not appropriate to keep suggesting the election is still in play.
By the way Taniel, my color-blind friend just complained that he could not see the coloring you use for the changes to the presidential ratings.
