		<description>I completely fail to see how the Republican strategy of hoping Stevens wins the primary then steps down is the least bit democratic.  If I were a Republican voter in the Alaska primaries, I would wonder why I should bother voting, if my vote will be negated by the state party annointing someone other than the winner as the candidate.</description>
