It is measure of how America thirsts for hope and is weary of fear and terror. How we look for humanity and that which is good, how we want the pursuit of happiness and not security and ever increasing ways of keeping ourselves safe, insured and etcs. We want to be able to live without constant fear. Obama is that stronghold, that symbol and sense of refuge. Please visit WHYOBAMA08.ORG and help us get him elected!

It should be noted that Obama has not campaigned or shown ads in Arizona. Maybe he should!

Good article. It would be interesting to know how much difference paid campaign staffers and campaign offices make. I don`t know the effect 100 extra campaign staffers will make in a state like Ohio with over 10 million people.

I completely agree it is a win-win proposal for Obama to compete in Montana etc and those states are not expensive. The national Olympic ad buy also makes sense since a lot of states are considered battleground from coast to coast. It also has the beneficial effect of shoring up support in potential weak spots like New Jersey.
