Such a ticket would be, in my estimation, unbeatable, especially as the Right has been firing salvos continually at Hillary, the presumptive candidate for over a year now. They would need a whole new smear approach, and it would be hard to avoid the appearance (the actuality) of racism and top-down class warfare to oppose the values of Obama and Edwards.<br/><br/>I do believe Hillary would make a decent president, if only because she has balls of steel and has been through the smear-wringer before, but not now, and not in today's America. I dream of a nation where the Scaifes, Norquists and Limbaughs can't get any traction and wind up looking like the bigoted, anti-democratic, paranoid, unhinged corporate whores they in fact are. Only Hillary can prevent that, it seems to me. Without a Clinton in the cross hairs, can they keep the hate machine properly stoked?<br/><br/>Let's hope we get to find out.
